"Royal Power" illustrates one of the most formidable beings from an ancient world. They are said to have played a pivotal role in a cataclysmic event that shaped the fate of many species here on Earth. Whether they were the cause or sought to prevent the disaster remains a mystery, but their presence undeniably impacted the fate of this planet. This fantastical world is inspired by my experiences seeing Maya Pyramids in Tikal, Guatemala and the creatures sculpted on their most important structures.

Created with 94 Montana spray paint and acrylic brush paint. Measures 30×24in on wood canvas. 1.5in thick cradle. Hand-masked glitter and gloss effect on the creature. The head has UV reactive features.
