"Waterfalls" draws inspiration from the monumental scale of hidden ancient ruins beneath the earth's surface. Climbing Guatemala’s awe-inspiring volcanic peaks have shown me a profound perspective on the size of our planet. In this painting, I sought to encapsulate that sense of scale with expansive hills inhabited by a herd of dinosaurs, while a colossal stone face looms ominously above it all. This juxtaposition invites viewers to reflect on the unknown depths of history and nature that lie just beneath our feet.
